Going Above and Beyond for Our Clients

Answer: Well, court is just a small part of what lawyers do in general. In fact, most of what we do involves making sure that our clients, especially with this firm; that our clients' focus is more than just on what is going to be happening in court. One of the big things we do to better society is help people who want to get help. Because of my relationship with this field and this firm, we have a great network of treatment providers that can help people that are in a variety of situations, whether it's some kind of mental health or some kind of substance abuse health that they need to seek help for, we're very connected and able to get that kind of help for them.

Further, it's always a good thing to have lawyers around. I think that it increases awareness of a variety of issues, especially when it comes to the criminal field, in that a lot of people want to negatively stereotype criminals, but criminals are our neighbors. And they deserve to have their story, and they deserve a fair shake, and that's why I think it's very important to go out of our way to educate people, but also to provide the support that they need, whether it's doing a pro bono case, or whether it's just simply helping them find the right connections, that's the kind of help that we like to provide.
